Welcome to another Amplify Project blog, this month we are interviewing up & coming Author Natalie Windlefell. We know you didn't stop by to hear from us so shall we dive right in? US: So tell us Natalie, what do you do? Natalie: I'm a brand new author with a book coming out on 2/11 with The Unbound Press - It's called "Rude Awakening: A Mixtape. It's a collection of stories about my own spiritual awakening to the tune of the songs that inspired me/sparked lessons along the way. On my instagram page, I share inspiration and the occasional meme to help others through this crazy transition this planet is going through (whether they're conscious of it or not!) I also just started a project called "Be Here Awake" - a platform where people on the awakening path can share/express themselves among like-minded and curious others. US: We love that! Now here is the juicy one...why do I do it? Natalie: I know how lonely awakening can be, so I am passionate about helping people feel like they are heard and validated and know that what they're going through is amazing. I had such a hard time when I was first waking up because I didn't feel like I fit into any of the cookie cutter new age boxes. As I fumble through finding my voice and embracing my own authenticity, I want others to know they're safe to do so, too. US: We totally feel you on the awakening, we've all been there....so what do you love about your work? Natalie: Writing my book was such an amazing healing process for me and I can't wait to share it with the rest of the world. I am so lit up by helping those on the awakening path and serving as a breath of fresh air in a sea of confusion. I am inspired by people all of the time and am in awe of their own journeys. I think meeting all of the amazing people along my own journey is what fuels me to keep creating and connecting. US: Most importanty how can our readers find you? I hang out mainly on IG - @nataliewindlefell - I am working on a website and am planning to have it ready to go prior to my book launch! US: Natalie it has been a pleasure to connect with you experience just a couple of your mixtape tracks. We are super excited to witness your journey as an author unfold. Infact you have just inspired us to start a mixtape of our own!

Hey Savannah, it is so wonderful to connect with you.. So tell us what do you do? I’ve been called a world-renowned bodyworker, Habit Strategist, and Intuition Leadership Coach, and I’ve been doing all these wonderful things for nearly twenty-five years. My purpose in this world is to help you connect to and develop your Intuition for Leadership and Wellbeing. Since 2017, I have been running a program called Ladies Lifting Ladies, a focus on feminine collaboration, pleasure and flair in business, using your cycle and being more productive than you could possibly imagine. I’m currently creating a program called Your Intuitive Life, which is about learning to listen to yourself and live at your own pace in order to embody your fullest potential; it will be launching in Spring 2021. I’m also the creator of Roll Me Open, a self-referencing tool which allows you to relax, open, and check in with your spine daily. Love that! So why do you do what you do? Well, I really wanted to be a singer, but I hate singing words – I’d rather just make noises, but Enya had beat me to it. So I went into the next best thing, which was intuition and healing. When I was young, I would walk into a room and be able to feel everyone’s emotions; no matter what people would say to me, their emotions, rather than their words, would strike me as the loudest thing in the room. It would be some years before I realised I was an empath. Being an empath at first felt like a curse, and I sought out all sorts of ways to deal with it. I started meditating at the age of seven, and I started doing daily Reiki at the age of seventeen. I became fascinated by how food effected my sensitivity and how opening my body through yoga and exercise helped. As an empath, I realised that people sometimes struggled to identify what they were feeling, and I was able to help them uncover and connect to their own emotions and then release the correlating blockages in their bodies. I also wanted to help others like me and to support those who wanted to develop their empathy and intuition to know themselves better. I believe the future is empathic – where our leaders as empaths will create win-win-win situations for everyone involved. Our third and final question is...What do you love about your work? I love how pleasurable, light and empowering this work is for my clients and for myself, helping people realise there is no need to push themselves, that they are enough, and all they need to do is slow down and know themselves. I love to guide people back to their inner-tution, the part of them that shows and tells them what they need. I do this through my coaching, my online programs – Your Intuitive Life and Ladies Lifting Ladies – as well as the Roll Me Open. I'm truly living the dream – I make my living helping others live their best lives and get to be my authentic, goofy self.
My true journey began back in August 2018 after my first Reiki attunement. I had done a Life Coaching diploma and had started training with another organisation but getting my training hours up was just not working! No one wanted to be Coached! I was so disappointed that I had put all this time and energy into something I loved, for it not to be successful. Reiki had begun to come into my life during the summer holidays before my son started school. This was a really difficult time in my life. I was exhausted, burnt out, unsure of what I was doing or where I was going. My wellbeing and self-care was not good. I was not giving myself the time or space I needed. I didn’t know how! My cup was so empty! People around me were talking about how good Reiki was for stress relief and relaxation. It was coming up in magazines and in posts online across my social media. So, I tried to get an appointment for treatment with a practitioner close to me but no matter how hard I tried, she was always busy! I had looked at other practitioners in the area and been on websites but when Caroline walked past me in a coffee shop one day, I knew she was the one I was meant to go to. I had an amazing treatment with her and she went on to become my teacher. I’ve had all of my attunements with her. This led me onto rediscovering and uncovering all the things I had liked in my teens and I started delving into myself on a deeper level. The work I was doing helped me to connect with nature, my cyclicality, personality traits I had not looked into before. I discovered my Human Design – I’m a 6/2 Generator by the way! I am a Highly Sensitive Person. I studied different healing modalities, researching and learning as much as I could. I created a self-care practice that became a habit and not just for when I let my cup get so low. I opened my business, hanawellbeing but lockdown hit and stopped me in my tracks, like the majority of small businesses this year. I chose to use lockdown to deepen my 5 year yoga practice and decided to start my yoga teacher training 200hr course. Looking at all I have done over the last few years, I began to realise that all these elements were never meant to be separate but joined together to create a Wellbeing and Self-Care platform. I got a coach which helped me to get some clarity. I rebranded, Changed my business name (Get Your Om On) I got aligned with my business and things are flowing! I created my signature course within a month and have a client onboard already. I believe we all have what we need to help ourselves, we just need someone to hold space and guide us so we can discover it. I’m so passionate about helping people to look after themselves so they can live a vibrant life. When I talk about self-care, I talk about creating a deep understanding of ourselves and our needs, not the superficial self-care practices that we are often sold. They’re good for supplementing our needs at the time but they don’t last us for the long term. What I’ve learnt over the past 2 years is if you are at a place where things don’t feel like they are working, keep going until you find something that does work. If you’re on the right path things will come into your life and lead you to where you need to be. Blessings, Hannah.
My theory is that we are all psychic… Each and every one of us. Think about it. When you walk into a room and you feel a weird vibe or you meet someone and you think ‘Jeez I don’t like that guy, there is something off about him’ – you are reading energy. Your intuition is talking to you, your body is giving you a message. We just haven’t been taught how to listen. Everything is energy, right? Everything holds energy. Around my body and your body is a beautiful field of energy, and when we interact with each other, think about each other or somehow connect with each other, we can read or feel into the energy of the other person. Or imagine even the energy of trees, animals, water, crystals etc! So here is my story – I started connecting with my intuition around 10 years ago – my reiki massage therapist at that stage was a beautiful Soul who would bring messages through during our sessions and I would be fascinated by how she did it. I then studied Reiki in 2014 and then the Akashic Records. All of these studies were based around the concept of working with energy. So what I have figured out over all the years of doing this work is that a psychic reading is basically me connecting with your energy and reading it and bringing messages forth for you. I was not born psychic, to be honest I was totally unaware of anything outside of myself or within myself for a massive chunk of my adult life. Around the age of 33 I only started realising that I wasn’t just here to exist and work. I was not one of those lucky people who knew from the age of 4 that they could see spirit and angels. I basically had to practice, practice and then practice some more, and today I am still practicing. But you have to start somewhere right. I have literally done 1000s of readings up to this point. And with each reading I grow my skills and I expand it all, but again you have to commit to this. Especially if you are not one of the lucky ones that are born open. One of the biggest obstacles to becoming psychic is trusting yourself and your inner voice. And like with everything in life, the more I practice the better I get, it’s like riding a bike! When you understand that you have the ability to connect to energy it makes it so much easier. One of my clients this week said that this work is like being a radio - all the frequencies are out there; we just need to learn to tune in and listen to them. His way of seeing this is exactly right – we are all radios that just need to tune in and listen, all those energies out there are literally waiting for us to come and listen in. When I channel different energies during my meditations and my DNA activations, it is literally me allowing myself to tune in and receive. And if I don’t let my ego self and thoughts get in the way it is a beautiful experience (this also takes practice but gets easier the more we do it). So if you are considering starting to practice and tune into your psychic abilities a bit more, please just always make sure that you are conscious of your own beliefs and filters. When we bring info through for anyone we have to make sure that we put those aside and allow Spirit to speak. The more we allow our thinking mind to not be involved the more authentic our messages and the energy that we are reading becomes.
Hey beautiful soul, I’m Lisa Martin. And would love to ask you have you ever had a moment where you think... There must be more to my life?? More to overwhelm or struggle?? This was the one thought in my mind for so many years. Years spent giving everything of myself to everyone & everything else first. You see I was always at the bottom of the list. For years I ‘ve had a dream…. A dream of being able to bring positivity, empowerment, inspiration & hope And connection back to women survivors after abuse, bullying & trauma. I knew my vision involved creativity, because being creative is in my heart. However I was too focused on saving others to put myself first. I was the kid always surround by pens & paints. I was the girl that loved playing with my mum’s old bits of broken jewellery Creativity & writing became my solace after my own abuse. Life left me feeling lost, not connected to me or others. I wanted to make my world, and the world for others, the best place it could be above all I wanted others to know I cared, that if they needed help, I was there for them. I wanted a way to celebrate life’s smaller moments, supporting them in bringing a little joy & intention into each day. Guiding them to overcome & soothe the soul from the curveballs of life During motherhood creativity became a positive outlet for me to soothe my soul after a really stressful & overwhelming day. Looking after my 4 children aged 7 & under. Three of whom had autism, severe learning difficulties & mental health issues I would create handcrafted cards & jewellery in the evenings if they slept, not only that but creativity was also a way for my children to communicate with me. As my 2 sons were not verbal, instead they used signs, colours and shapes. This was their way of connecting and; communicating with me & the world. Sometimes I would gather the mums at my home for a morning of creativity, where we would share our stresses, and come up with solutions for our daily parenting struggles. How I loved those times, which of course led me to where I am today in my business. The vision for my business has evolved like a fower over the past 3 year and it has been a journey of life & business lessons Of handcrafting bespoke, limited edition, and one of a kind jewellery and of coaching women to rediscover who they really are after a life of curveballs. This has recently evolved into creating a range of positivity clothing & accessories to encourage women when they wear them to live a heart centred life of full potentail. As I have learn't so many lessons in life, I turned my focus to sharing them with others. I love each & every day, because each client I work with is so different. And because I never know how a design, or a coaching session is going to work out, I simply trust my intuition and that I do know what is best. There is so much magic when you stop for long enough to notice it. That magic is the magic I find in creativity. Hugs & Wishes Lisa xx Author Lisa Martin - Curve Ball Queen
![]() We react to events and experiences in different ways, physically, emotionally and psychologically without knowing what’s happening to us, or why? I see clients with physical allergic reactions caused by an inappropriate diet. I get emails from parents whose children’s seemingly ‘irrational’ fears are threatening to overwhelm their emotional development. I talk to ‘binge eaters’, whose problems stem from an abusive relationship. The list goes on and on… I recently treated a client who needed a massage on her aching neck every few weeks. She recognised that her neck pain was worse when she was feeling overwhelmed at work. I investigated more, and it transpired that her ‘pain in the neck’ stemmed from a bullying work colleague whom she regarded as a ‘pain in the neck’. I used NLP technique and hypnotherapy, and am happy to say she’s not needed that type of massage again. This is an example of holistic therapy and the methods I use to help my clients. When a client and myself commit to working together, I don’t just address the presenting issue they are having problems with such as weight gain or anxiety. I advise on everything from diet, lifestyle, the products they use on their skin and the people they surround themselves with. We take a holistic approach to their life. Strengthening weaker areas and focussing on maintenance strategies for positive decisions and beliefs. “Building and maintaining a rounded and more balanced approach to your total wellbeing, rather than specific problem-solving can be key to living a happier and healthier life.” I find that using highly targeted and personalised NLP and hypnotherapy techniques help to unlock physical and psychological barriers. NLP is my preferred approach when I fear there may be external factors at play. Influences such as the food and drink they consume or the substances they apply to their skin can hold the key to total wellbeing. “What the mind cannot express in tears, causes other organs to weep.” The systems of the body are connected. You’ve heard the terms ‘gut instinct’ and ‘broken hearted’, there is science and reason behind both phrases. Your gut is the waste disposal unit of your body. The vagus nerve connects the gut and the brain. It relays the instinctive information we need to survive, passing the heart and other major organs along the way. As in your home, where dodgy plumbing can lead to a whole heap of misery, a malfunction in the gut can result in anxiety, depression and low mood alongside any physical effects. It is estimated that 90% of the body’s serotonin, our ‘feel-good’ hormone, is made in the digestive tract. It is vitally important that we look after our gut health and ingest good quality and healthy food to fuel our bodies and repair cells. The body produces two million red blood cells every second – think about your diet over the past 24 hours, what might your blood cells be made of? “The food you eat can be either the safest and most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison” Dr Ann Wigmore. It’s all in the mind Clinical studies have shown that the heart has a brain of its own! We have 40,000 sensory neurites, brain-like cells located in our heart. They communicate separately from our brain and are responsible for many of our ‘instinct’-based thoughts, decisions and reactions. These connections can be strengthened through meditation and self-hypnosis to improve all aspects of life. I encourage clients and teach clients how to do this themselves. I make personal audio files to help them to nurture and ‘train’ themselves. Physical, emotional, psychological. We are each a single body made up of a myriad of complex and interconnecting systems, and everything impacts each other. Without a holistic approach, you only ever treat the symptoms of your problems. It takes a broader view to get to the root cause and deal with the source of the problem, only then do you come close to achieving health and happiness. Feel nurtured and supported on your journey to wellbeing Treatments such as hypnotherapy, NLP, reflexology or aromatherapy involve looking beyond the presenting issue. I work with the information I gather during the consultation to look at any underlying lifestyle issues that I feel may be a factor in the client’s wellbeing. We examine aspects of their life, finding methods to enhance their overall wellbeing, inside and out. Some of these will be minor adjustments; some will involve a more significant commitment. If the client chooses to commit to lifestyle change, I offer full support. Every client leaves a session with knowledge, tips, resources and above all else, self-belief and encouragement. I enjoy seeing my clients using their knowledge to make positive, long-lasting changes, taking responsibility for their wellbeing, and thriving!
I spent my happiest years at art college learning so many different techniques, artistic mediums, and doing what students do! But when I finished and walked away with my degree, I struggled to find a job in the creative space. Fortunately, I had a back-up plan, having worked in bars and shops since the age of fourteen, I decided to find a temporary job in retail whilst I found the perfect creative position. Guess what? Twenty-five years passed by and I had become a Divisional Executive! I mourned my creative career daily but applied my creative thinking to my job and it was like magic. The ability to see the end result clearly, within seconds of understanding the problem set me apart from my peers and I became a supervisor, then a department manager, then a stock investigation officer, then a store manager……the gift that just keeps giving. But guess what? Most ‘creatives’ have this innate power to creatively problem solve, yet they are often overlooked or lack the confidence to step into a leadership role and take risks. I want to break down those limitations that are in place, on both sides, and see and feel the change when women step into their creative power. That is why I decided to become a ‘Creative Genius Consultant’. Yes, I consult with Creative Geniuses to help them to launch, grow and scale their creative business and make more money. I do this because I am one of those rare breeds that has been successful in both arenas. It is my duty to share. So, I manifested my Creative Business Academy to help female entrepreneurs to step into their creative power and become the leader in their life and business. I want to share some of my steps into ‘Creative Leadership’, because the more people that understand there is nothing wrong with them because they think and see ‘differently’ the better this planet we live on will become (personal opinion disclaimer – you don’t have to think, see or be like me!). What you see IS possible: I know that you may see in pictures and those around you just won’t get it. Let me tell you a story. I walked into my first store as a newly appointed manager and there really wasn’t much that was right. The team were deflated, nervous about this odd woman coming in as a manager (after all there were no women managers), the store was seriously underperforming, unwelcoming and the service was shocking. I think I was being tested! But I saw what I knew it could look like, feel like and absolutely be like. It was vivid this picture in my head, all I had to do was figure out the ‘how’ and I knew this would already exist in the hearts and minds of that deflated team. I just had to coax it out. Fast forward twelve months and we had the best performing store in the company (over 800 stores!). I was being ‘visited’ by everyone and their granny in disbelief that I could have sales of +376%YOY. What you believe IS true: I believe in my vision and in my creative ability to get there. I have always inherently believed it because my dad told me I could be anything and do anything I imagined. So, I imagined myself into everything I wanted. 98% of children are creative, unfortunately academic subjects are favoured and it is ‘trained’ out of them in favour of a proper job. Those who know creativity sets them apart in a crowd go on to achieve success whatever they do, and the rest settle and live within the constraints of societies expectations of them. Creative’s are often seen as the weird and the whacky in society, the dreamers, but they are also the change bringers. Think - Einstein, Da Vinci, Picasso, Michelangelo, Rosa Parks, Maya Angelou, Leymah Gbowee, J K Rowling and so many more. You may not immediately associate all of these as creative, but they absolutely were/arecreative thinkers and leaders. If I can feel it, then I can see it, then I can create it: Many creative people are communicating a feeling, a desire, an ending. It is the same in leadership. As the leader you want the team of people who you work side by side with to feel their way to a better future. How will they feel to be a part of a high performing team? How will they feel to secure their future success? How will YOU feel when the job is done, and you can promote your right-hand woman and move on to the next project. It is like finishing that painting and starting a blank canvas, exciting and filled with whatever design is in your head. Feel it and create it. You have my permission to go and be the creative leader that you were born to be. Everything else in life is just like the operation in a business, you learn how to do it, do it, retire and die. So, how much more joyful and purposeful can this journey we are all on be if we tap into our ‘Creative Leadership’ power and make the journey one of our own design? Love & colour Mandy
